Welcome to Louise Ward Holistics
My focus is on outcome based treatments such as increasing range of motion, reduction of pain etc My approach takes into account lifestyle and the emotional well-being of clients which may be factors affecting physical well-being. I have worked with clients of all ages with a wide range of conditions and problems.
The first appointment will include a consultation and after discussion we agree a treatment plan. This is reviewed at every appointment to ensure that treatments are focussed appropriately. You will be given general and also tailored homecare advice so that you can gain the maximum benefit from the treatments you have.
I am an aromatherapist and incorporate this in many treatments using the benefits of aromatherapy oils in conjunction with different massage techniques. I have qualified as an Advanced Clinical Massage Therapist (ACMT) and also in Myofascial Release techniques having trained at Jing Advanced Massage Training and use techniques from Eastern and Western therapies which can be highly effective in cases of chronic pain and conditions including the following:
~ Chronic pain conditions such as neck & shoulder pain and low back pain
~ Hip, leg, knee & foot pain such as plantar fasciitis
~ Frozen shoulder
~ Tennis elbow & Golfer's elbow
~ Carpal tunnel syndrome and RSI
~ Headaches and migraines
~ Stress, tension & anxiety
~ Low energy levels
~ Chronic fatigue syndrome and Fibromyalgia
~ Disturbed sleep and Insomnia
~ Digestive problems
Regular massage can aid general wellness, relaxation and those with stress and anxiety issues. It is very beneficial for those undertaking repetitive movements, leading a sedentary lifestyle or starting a new exercise regime. It can also be used in support of other therapies to assist in the rehabilitation of muscular injuries.
